The programme is designed to upskill unemployed youth in basic computer skills. Basic computer skills will help to empower youth and make them more attractive for employment. This programme offers practical, real-world learning experiences that are delivered by accredited professionals. Students will receive a certificate on completion.

■       Basic use of Microsoft Office

Programme details

■       The programme runs from 4 June – 30 November 2018

■       The classes will take place every Monday and Wednesday from 14:00 – 18:00 (South African time)

■       Programme will be offered at Thembelitsha Primary School, Concordia, Knysna

■       Student will receive a certificate on completion of the course

■       No course fees applicable – all other fees to be covered by the student e.g., transportation

Applicants need to comply with the following criteria

■       South African citizen with a birth certificate/ID

■       Proof of residence in Knysna

■       Historically disadvantaged individuals

■       Grade 9 qualification

■       Between 10 and 35 years of age

■       Currently not involved in any other training courses

■       Available daily between 14:00 and 18:00
